A YURT WEDDING
MONGOLIAN YURT STORY

Montville Yurts are the beautiful and unique solution for alternative wedding venues. Hire a handmade yurt for a beautiful Yurt Wedding. These stunning round structures with their perfect white skins and bamboo poles create a space that is truly unforgettable.

The simplicity of the design doesn't take over or dominate. Light and sound play through the yurts, subtlety, elegantly. The space is round, full and ample.

Link several yurts together for a village feel. We have multiple sizes available to create interconnected spaces for you and your guests.

Yurts have been used as shelter for at least three thousand years and are still the most common type of habitation in Mongolia.  A high percentage of the population retains a nomadic lifestyle and yurts can be seen throughout the country, whether on the steppes, the Gobi Desert, or the mountainous regions in Central and Western Mongolia.

The practicality, comfort, and portability of the yurt allow these people to live in the time-honored way, moving every few months, These nomads lived alongside rare wildlife, including the snow leopard, Gobi bear, white elk and wild horses.
